Talk In Code create sonically anthemic indie pop
Anthemic indie pop outfit Talk In Code need to be on your radar with the release of their single ‘Talk Like That’.
Based in Swindon, the band dropped the bright and breezy single in February ahead of their upcoming EP later this year. Recorded and mixed at Studio 91 in Newbury (Supergrass, Fickle Friends, Bring Me The Horizon, Amber Run), ‘Talk Like That’ tells a story of ‘the chase’ and a feeling of longing set to a pounding soundscape.
Described as “Pet Shop Boys meets The 1975,” Talk In Code spread a shower of cool indie pop with jangly riffs and sonic vocals from frontman Chris Stevens.
The name Talk In Code stems from the idea that every listener relates to songs differently – creating their very own meaning, relationship, story…..code if you will. With fans affectionately known as “Talkers” too, they have been eagerly awaiting this release since the band’s second album Resolve dropped in late 2018.
