Brighton’s ambient-indie band Submariner has released their new emotive single ‘Stumbling’.
The band confidently stride forward with emotive new single ‘Stumbling’. It’s a real slow burner. Herrity’s soft, mellow vocals glide across the guitar chords before moving into a sweet and beautiful upbeat chorus with their jingly guitars and soft drumming.
The four-piece’s latest release caps off a fantastic year that has seen them take in their first major festivals at Common People and Victorious and airtime on BBC Introducing.
Frontman Jimmy Herrity explains the tracks origins; “Stumbling describes those moments where you become fully conscious of your own self-destructive behaviour and that internal struggle between trying to be OK whilst preparing yourself for the consequences of that self-destructiveness. Musically it highlights us making another step towards the emotive palette we’re revealing in 2018.
