Sounds Like A Storm return with their all-new exhilarating glam-rock anthem ‘Make It Better’.
The band have gotten off to one hell of a start since their formation in 2016, selling out headline shows across Leeds as well as performing on the BBC Radio 1 Stage at Reading & Leeds Festival.
Hotly tipped as our ICM Ones to Watch 2019, SLAS are back in the rock n roll driving seat with their high energy sounds and snappy vocals. ‘Make It Better’ is fuelled by irony, as the raw track covers life and the things you love; the idea that for things to get better, you have to believe in something.
Frontman Sennen Ludmand explains: “At the time I wrote this song my dad was in the hospital, I wrote this tune one night in the month of January, it came from nowhere.
“I suppose lyrically I am picturing things I love, this escapism from hospital wards and the trauma of what I was going through.
“The juxtapositions bounce in and out throughout the song, this feeling of isolation and loneliness felt unusual at the time, but now for everyone in the world through the pandemic has become almost second nature.”
The song is set to deliver hope that things will get better even if they may not be the same as before but they will get better.
‘Make It Better’ comes almost a year after Sounds Like A Storm released their last release – a demo version of ‘Try and Entertain Me’ which was recorded as an ICM TV Live session in 2018.
