This week’s Song Of The Week comes from Viola Beach, a band that is fresh on the scene from Warrington.
Debuting on Spotify and iTunes is an incredibly big part of developing a band. To know that people can now listen to your music on their favourite outlet must give an amazing sense of gratification. But there is probably a lot of pressure on the band to get that first single just right.
Well, Viola Beach no longer need to feel that pressure, as ‘Swings & Waterslides’ is excellent. The drums crash instantly into the song, which is succeeded by pleasing guitar licks. The vocals burst in with people cheering the lyrics.
The song is a great mix of drumming and a pleasing guitar melody that make it a solid song.
