Song Of The Week: The Clause – Sixteen

The Clause

Birmingham alt-rock band The Clause are this week’s Song Of The Week with their single ‘Sixteen’.

The song gives a jangly reflection of their teenage days in Birmingham; sneaking out of class for a smoke, reminiscing of the struggles of being sixteen and trying to sneak into nightclubs was all part of the fun and games.

WIth influences from Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Stone Roses and Arctic Monkeys The Clause have been smashing their hometown scene with numerous support slots and a headline slot at the O2 Institute.

The Clause are Pearce McMenamin (vocals & guitar), Niall Fennell (drums), Jonny Fyffe (bass guitar & backing vocals) and Liam Deakin (guitar).

The band support The Pigeon Detectives this Friday (October 27) in Birmingham! Grab tour tickets here: http://smarturl.it/WFM17TICKETS
