Song Of The Week: Asylums – Necessary Appliances

Asylums

Our Song Of The Week is Southenders Asylums with their track ‘Necessary Appliances’. Luke, Jazz, Henry and Michael are soon to release their debut album ‘Killer Brain Waves’ on August 5th through Cool Things Records.

Asylums have done it all on their own fiercely DIY terms. And right now, doing everything their own way has meant that current single ‘Necessary Appliances’, is being championed by BBC Radio 1, 6Music, and Radio X, and a whole bunch of gigs beckons over Summer, including slots at Bestival and other prestigious festivals.

Necessary Appliances and many other singles have received much hype, pushing forward their rise to fame. With this rise comes with a gig at The Lexington on July 28 as part of Radio X X-Posure.
