Song Of The Week: Jordan Allen – R.O.S.I.E.

Jordan Allen

Indie rock band Jordan Allen are Song Of The Week with their new single ‘R.O.S.I.E.’

The Bolton four-piece released the track as part of their ‘Livin’ La Vida Bolton’ EP in February, which we regarded as a amazing EP with its endearing, bittersweet, raw, and optimistic indie rock sound.

Jordan Allen have quickly established themselves as one of the UKs must-see Indie acts. With sets at Leeds and Reading festivals, airplay with singles ‘Helter Skelter’, ‘Too Much Too Soon’ and ‘Dancing In The Dark’ they have receive huge amounts praise from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music, Clash and Radio X.

Speaking about the track, Jordan says: “R.O.S.I.E is a song about a posh girl that I met on my course at Uni who I hardly ever saw, because she was always out on mad three-day benders.

“The first time I saw her she burst in this massive snow leopard coat about 45 minutes late with shades she’d not been to bed. It’s about how we eventually became mates and a few of the zany nights we had together.”

Jordan Allen are; Jordan Allen (Vocals, Guitars), Danny Quin (Guitar), Kieran Loughran (Bass) and Nathan Howard (Drums).

The video is shot around venues in Manchester’s Northern Quarter. Watch it below!
