Single Review: The Hunna – Bonfire

The Hunna are a Hertfordshire (Where we’re based) four-piece consisting of Ryan (Vocals/Guitar), Dan (Lead Guitar), Jermaine (Bass) and Jack (Drums). Their debut singles ‘Bonfire’ and ‘She’s Casual’ only came out two weeks ago. Upon pressing play, you’ll quickly realize this is a name that you’ll soon hear a lot more of in the near future.

‘Bonfire,’ which was produced by Tim Larcombe (Lana Del Rey, Halsey) and mixed by Dan Grech; who has turned Wolf Alice and Circa Waves into master classes might I just add. It’s frenetic, yet crafted to perfection. Drenched in anthemic nature, it immediately insights the need to start singing or even shouting along to, which is just what they need after a debut release.

We find music that we enjoy on a daily basis, especially when the talent comes out of our home county makes it just that extra special. They are currently supporting Coasts on their UK tour, which only has four dates left to go.

October 28th – Norwich, Waterfront

October 30th – Brighton, Concorde 2

October 31st – Bristol, The Marble Factory

November 1st – Southampton, Engine Rooms
