Sea Girls

Sea Girls have released their incredible new EP ‘Under Exit Lights’ this month which features more infectious jagged life songs and arrives ahead of their biggest UK tour yet.

With a debut album in the works for the summer, Sea Girls are a band aiming first and foremost at being the sing-a-long torch bearers for a whole new generation. Much of their success is driven by their essential energetic live performances and uncanny ability to write catchy songs which portray incredibly well in ‘Under Exit Lights’.

The six-track EP is driven by their energetic indie pop and uncanny song writing on hit singles ‘Violet’ and ‘Ready For More’ which has seen the outfit grow from strength to strength. The other half of the EP features more infectious jagged life songs whilst the quartet explores new sonic styles. ‘Why Won’t You Admit It’ has simple, yet reliable lyrics with a catchy chorus and you would expect nothing less form a Sea Girls song.

‘Timeless’ takes a back seat from the intense pop for an acoustic guitar-led ballad as Henry Camamile lays out his vocals beautifully. ‘Solider On’ similarly takes aback seat but instead features synths and techno beats which leads an powerful anthem calling for the young generation to pull through all that life throws at them.

After three years in the making, there is no doubt that ‘Under Exit Lights’ will stand them in good stead for what we can expect to be a very bright future.

The upcoming UK tour dates in April are postponed due to COVID-19 and the band are currently working on rescheduling the dates – tickets will likely remain valid. Keep an eye on their social media pages for updates, but in the meantime, listen to the EP below.
