Sea Girls announce new EP and headline shows

To round off what has been an extremely successful year, Sea Girls have set goals to take over in 2020 with the announcement of an EP and world tour.

The 2019 Ones To Watch indie band have been at the forefront of everyone’s eyes and ears as one of the most exciting new bands in the next century.

They signed a major record deal with Polydor, are touring the globe, triumphed at Reading and played their biggest UK show to date when they sold out London’s Forum.

Sea Girls are a band aiming first and foremost at being the sing-al-long torch bearers for a whole new generation. Much of their success is driven by their energetic live performances and uncanny ability to write songs like ‘Violet’ and ‘Damage Done’ that enjoy heavy BBC Radio 1 support.

Next March they release a brand new EP, ‘Under Exit Lights’, featuring more infectious jagged life songs on March 6th and in April play their biggest UK tour yet.

Charismatic lead Henry Camamile explains their mission statement: ”We’ve worked so hard to get here. We’re so clear-headed about where we want to go, where we want to be and what we want to say. I don’t want to let anything knock us off track.

“2020 is going to be massive for us. Bring it on.”

Sea Girls Tour Dates:

16th – Birmingham, O2 Institute
17th – Manchester, O2 Ritz
18th – Glasgow, The Garage
23rd – London, The Roundhouse

Getting to know Southampton newcomer Daring Darling

Behind the bustling cargo shipyard and cultural city of Southampton is the 60s psych-rock artist Darling Darling making inroads across the south of England. Already one year into his smoothly sardonic and enthusiastically empathetic project, mastermind Matt Bisgrove has released three singles including his latest ‘Strangers’. It’s one of Bisgroves’ most mature pieces of work yet. The twinkling sounds, vocal layers and soaring atmospherics are stylistically embedded like you’re playing it on a vintage record player. Incorporating a lick of modern R&B from Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, ‘Strangers’ is a tasteful play on love, heartbreak, pity and pain all
