Sarpa Salpa return with striking indie pop anthem ‘Stick To What You Know’

It’s October and Sarpa Salpa return with new single ‘Stick To What You Know’ about that 9-5 job you hate.

The five-piece are one of our favourites at ICM and this new indie pop gem continues to push the band in the right direction.

Following up on the pumping party anthem ‘Forwards Backwards’, Sarpa Salpa continue their typical trademark indie pop with alternative synths and striking vocals that echo in the background.

In danceable fashion ‘Stick To What You Know’ is poignant and hits all the right notes. In troubling times like today’s world finding a job isn’t exactly easy…

As frontman Marcus Marooth explains: “It’s about finding something that you love and pursuing it with everything you’ve got.

“There is a lot of pressure in society to find a job, settle down then rinse and repeat.

“This track is about not settling for that 9-5 job you hate for the rest of your life.

“Something that’s proved more than testing for everyone in 2020“.

The funky rockers will be performing at Southampton’s iconic music venue, Heartbreakers in March next year for ICM Presents.

We can guarantee an eccentric live show of stunning indie pop with the help of two specially picked support acts; Portsmouth outfit Neverman and Reading’s Brought It For The Bottle.
