Sarpa Salpa refine their sound with ‘Casanova’
Sarpa Salpa is back. Their first track, ‘Smith’ was a personal favourite of ours. It wasn’t overly refined and was a song that didn’t seem to know what it wanted to be. Despite all of this it had so much energy that none of it ever mattered, ‘Smith’ was on all of our playlists.
It’s great to see new artists progress, and this couldn’t be truer with Sarpa Salpa and their new track, ‘Casanova’. Right from the get-go, you can tell this is a more refined song, bursting straight in with meaningful guitar work.
The song keeps the standard all the way through, it doesn’t have the energy of ‘Smith’, but it’s a song that is more sure of its self and confident in its pace and purpose; and the ending is iconic.
