Punk rockers DEAD PONY are back with ferocious single ‘Bullet Farm’

In a mist of air raid sirens and grunge infused punk, Scottish trio DEAD PONY have returned with new single ‘Bullet Farm’.

Despite not releasing any music since 2020 hit ’23, Never Me’, the band haven’t stopped working tirelessly in the background to come out of the pandemic on top.

They have signed a record deal with LAB Records, secured a support tour with Twin Atlantic, and been selected to perform at the iconic Great Escape festival in Brighton and Glasgow’s TRNSMT Festival.

Singer Anna Sheilds said of the new single: “The idea for Bullet Farm came during a night watching the new Mad Max film. I remember during one of the gripping chase scenes, I was washed over by inspiration for a riff and I ran downstairs to record it into my phone quickly.

“The chaotic and rebellious vibe of the song is mirroring the movie and it is fast-paced and hectic with just a small break to catch your breath. Bullet Farm is about excitement, turbulent energy and defiance similar to what I felt whilst watching that movie.

“I really want whoever listens to this song to feel like they have fallen straight into the middle of a Mad Max chase scene and to be immersed in the adrenaline and rebelliousness of the song.”

‘Bullet Farm’ is just the beginning of what’s going to be a jam-packed year for Dead Pony. Their sonic aggression is matched only by a no-nonsense attitude and infectious battle-ready choruses – just wait till summer hits.
