Officially premiering on IndieCentralMusic today is the latest slice of energetic indie pop ‘How Does It Feel’ from Brighton outfit Luna Blue.
The quartet trailblazed their way through last year with three singles ‘Look At Me’, ‘Away With You’ and ‘Dance WIth Your Heart’.
Under lockdown, drummer Seb also raised £1375 for #SaveOurVenues (drumming Nirvana for 24hrs straight) followed by a virtual fundraiser raising £500 for Animals Asia.
The band’s latest effort ‘How Does It Feel’ is an epic swirl of swooping vocals, tight guitar riffs and killer drum beats. The chorus is extremely infectious and catchy and when you match this with a ‘signature’ Luna Blue instrumental break you’ve got yourself a killer pop-rock track.
Going deeper into the lyrics, vocalist Tom explains: “Often words mean nothing, spoken in relation to how things feel ‘in the moment: words can be spoken passionately, angrily, joyfully to try and get a grip on the unknown future which lies ahead – and often that fails.
“Breathe, take in the moment, accept where your heart is at…and just feel.”
Showcasing another sweet-spot collaboration with award-nominated producer Matthew Parisi, ‘How Does It Feel’ drops at midnight tonight.
With confirmation of two more outstanding tunes to follow in June and August dropping onto an EP, Luna Blue will blaze a stellar trail this year.
