These indie legends need no introduction. After recently celebrating 10 years since their enormous album ‘St. Jude’ was released, the Manchester boys have been touring around the UK, selling out most venues (shock horror). Playing a mixture of new songs and indie classics, the lads fail to disappoint after all these years. God bless the band.

They played Southampton’s largest venue, O2 Guildhall. With a 1,750 capacity the venue was actually one of the smaller ones of the tour, never the less the atmosphere was electric. However, I think their carpet flooring might have suffered from all the pints that were thrown…

People of all ages came to see the legends play including various young children, one of which front man Liam Fray brought on stage to give the set list to after the gig. No matter the ages, everyone was having a great boogie (and bugged out big time when ‘not nineteen forever’ came on).
