Ottoman burst onto the scene with fire and brimstone

Ottoman

Icelandic rock quartet Ottoman has burst onto the circuit with fire and brimstone on their new single ‘Burn The Witch’.

The coastal band blend ground thumping stoner rock and force invoking lyricism the band is sure to enthral anyone who seeks them out. ‘Burn The Witch’ does just that, punchy from the get-go, gritty throughout and loud till the very end.

Taking influence from the likes of Queens of the Stone Age and The Arctic Monkeys, Ottoman have been infused in the Icelandic cold summer sun, to create a band that seeks to start fires.

Formed in 2014, the band shot immediately to prominence in the Icelandic underground scene. Preferring the stage over the studio, the band gained an audience through word of mouth alone.

Spending their next few years performing on tour and festivals, they eventually decided to record their music. 2019 has now seen the band release three songs forged through years of stagecraft.
