Noel was recently in an interview with NME and told them, “Everything I’ve done since I left Oasis has come from my own pocket. You’ve got to pay for the tour, got to pay for the wages and you don’t really break even for about nine months. I don’t mean I lost money. I mean I lost a fucking shitload of money. It was a few million, like. I had to lie to Sara [MacDonald, wife] at first, and when I eventually did tell her, she freaked out – I mean FREAKED out.”
Chasing Yesterday became the fastest-selling LP of the year so far, with 89,000 copies being
snapped up to place is at number one in the charts in its first week. However, Noel isn’t making enough money to keep his solo career going.
As this eventuality has happened, Noel Gallagher has decided to bring back Oasis. For good! This is the most exciting news so far this year. The band will be bringing back the old songs after six years from retiring from their classics and we should be looking forward to some new songs too.
With their major come back there will also be a world tour coming in the autumn, starting in the US. Tickets are rumoured to cost £104.15. This extortionate price just goes to show that Noel is tight for money.
I’m sorry to say but… We so wish it was true. Have a happy April Fool’s Day!
