Norwegian artist ODA has just released her new electronic pop single ‘Robot Love’. This is a huge improvement on her majestic debut single, ‘So High’ – which was featured on our weekly playlist – creating a lot of buzz into the indie female scene.
Robot Love includes a lot of flowing synths and restless beats to blend perfectly with ODA’s smoky voice. The passion and fear mixed with emotional love are examined in some detail how love is just a reaction.
”What inspired me to write it was living far away from someone I really cared about. It was written as a way to deal with the distance and loneliness living in a small town. I wanted to explain love as just a biochemical reaction, something robot-like. So it would be easier not to get hurt”
With help from production talent MAYE, ODA has finally got the long awaited for single out!
