New Music Alert: Model Aeroplanes – Something Like Heaven

Scottish indie band Model Aeroplane have released their new track ‘Something Like Heaven’ yesterday. Model Aeroplanes have been very quiet over the winter period, and now we know the reason why. The indie pop tune is slightly different compared to previous singles ‘Crazy’ and ‘Club Low’ which had a more funkier and dancier beat to it.

‘Something Like Heaven’ has a finer and mature indie sound from the young lads, showing that they have that extra edge in their music capabilities. With the sound feeling more heavier or rockier compared to their last single ‘Deep In The Pool’ it’s safe to say that we can expect a lot more music to come from Model Aeroplanes, which I am certainly excited for.

Model Aeroplanes are on a Headline tour in March starting at Caves in Edinbrugh March 3rd:

4th – Glasgow – Oran Mor
5th – Dundee – Fat Sams
7th – London – Barfly
8th – Brighton – Green Door Store
9th – Bristol – Crofters
10th – Brimingham – Sunflower Lounge
11th – Nottingham – Bodega
12th – Manchester – Night & Day
13th – Leeds – Oporto
