Alt-rock and electro-pop five-piece called BLAJK from Toronto, Canada are to release their third single in the coming weeks and we have been lucky enough to get a sneak preview!
There aren’t many well-known bands to come out of Canada since the like of Drake or The Weekend, but this time these fresh faces onto the music scene are to cause quite a stir. Paul, Brent, Tom, Ray & lead singer Jordan have created a harmonic blend of electronic-pop and alt-rock that has a resemblance to The Neighbourhood.
Their upcoming single ‘French Class’, an electro-synth tune that has a deep and dark twist. Lead singer Jordan Radics describes a new adventure, “let’s find our home a different place, the sweet unknown” and “escape the streets we used to know”. The song reminds me of going to university, the fact that you move house and head out into the complete unknown can be a challenging experience. The end result is a sleek and refreshing tune that feels both unique and familiar.
‘French Class is now available on SoundCloud!
