My Pet Fauxes return with infectious new single ‘damn!’

Making a name for themselves as “one of the finest live acts around,” Nottingham five-piece My Pet Fauxes steamroll their way into the new year with new single damn!’.

Since forming in 2017 with single ‘Where Are You Now?’, the exciting indie pop band built up this reputation for smashing gig after gig, tour after tour.

From their own headline shows and support slots with acts like Larkins and Lucia & The Best Boys, My Pet Fauxes are filled to the brim with energy and pop hooks.

Their latest single ‘damn!’ sees the band take an alternative pop edge to their previous catalogue as infectious bass lines pluck and sweet rhythmics stand loud and proud through out the three minute 43 second single.

Speaking about ‘damn!’ further, the band said: “It’s a song about seeing the beauty in someone else that they may not see in themselves set to music that will make you want to let go of your insecurities and dance around your kitchen.”

It’s the band’s seventh release to date and a follow up to last year’s single ‘Holiday’.

Comprised of Aaron Bond-Thorne (vocals), Ben Hardy and Kieran Alexander (guitars), Alfie Parnell (drums) and Ollie Green (sax/keys), My Pet Fauxes have made a name for themselves in their hometown. Now it’s time to take on the rest of the world.

Camens return with indie rock belter ‘Poltergeist’

Back when times were much simpler, indie rockers Camens were sneaking into festivals and performing pop-up gigs wherever they could. Now, two years later, they’re back with their latest single ‘Poltergeist’.  The Stoke-on-Trent outfit are leaving behind the button bright indie-pop of their formative years in favour of something altogether darker, more mature and certainly more frenetic. As a result, ‘Poltergeist’ is a razor-sharp indie rock number suggests the gap between releases hasn’t been spent in vain. Following up on 2020’s ‘Leave Me In Pieces, the band are shifting in a new direction with their own brand of idiosyncratic indie.
