Ghost Car

Must see at Shindignation: Ghost Car

Over the past 3 months as we head into festival season, i’ve managed to see many bands and musicians in multiple cities at different events. Honeyblood taking to the stage at Rock City to smash the fuck out of Dot-To-Dot Festival! Tom Grennan performing in Derby’s Dr. Martens store at 2Q Festival. And acts such as Fickle Friends, Vant and Lisbon all representing at Live At Leeds earlier this year are all highlights.

With all 3 of those festivals being a great day to catch some amazing music, the rest of the summer looks like it will follow suit. There are still plenty of festivals to get yourself along to, one of which being Shindignation!

Boasting a great line-up of rising stars and a true range of genres to suit the all-round music aficionado, the festival definitely stands out to me. And one band name also stands out to me in particular, that being…

…Ghost Car!

Identifying as Post-Punk Garage, these 4 seriously cool gals make some unbelievably sound music!

They’re relatively new to the scene as their online presence in terms of music releases only dates back to earlier this year. Their first release being, ‘Stuck In The Mud’ and ‘Missing The Old Times’. Closely followed by my personal favourite, ‘Woman In The Shadows’ and ‘No history’.

All 4 tracks hold a deep, loud, raucous, energy-filled, intense feel that is bursting out of the drum kit and ripping at the guitar strings, waiting to be unleashed onto an unexpected festival crowd.

So, on the 5th of august, 1 wristband gets you into 4 venues to see over 40 bands, I think you’d be a fool to miss Ghost Car. I mean, I rate them anyway…
