The White Lakes have shared their first new music of 2021 in the form of catchy, driving new indie track ‘This Generation’.
The new track is the band’s observation on how obsessed millennials are with technology and how strong and innovative they are all becoming with it all.
The band reflect on their personal experience of lockdown and how they were shackled to technology for most of the day, shut in and shut down, unable to socialise.
They muse on the world being constantly driven by adverts and social media to consume that technology.
It’s a little dig/nudge to say it’s alright to be on technology but have some time off it and experience what life is around you.
