Exit Kid are Emre Turkmen (Years & Years) and drummer Dylan Bell, and they’ve shared their new ‘Garden’ EP.
Taken from the five-track offering, ‘Working Stiff’ is a driving, riff-heavy cut with a sinister grunge-fuelled edge.
Turkmen commented on the track: “I’m a huge Faith No More fan, and I was listening to ‘Caffeine’ A LOT at the time. I love heavy riffs, but I’m not a great guitar player, so I have to keep things simple.
“I was in the middle of touring and the relentless travelling that involves. I sort of wrote this through the eyes of a worker bee. The rat race. The daily grind. The treadmill. You get the idea.”
