Deliberately provocative symbol of the Cold War, MiG 15 are the latest craze to come out of Liverpool and they’ve just released new single ‘Cowboys & Indians’.

The quartet originally began when frontman James McCluskey was a teenager growing up in San Diego, inspired by the fighter jets at the nearby military bases.

Upon moving back to his hometown, that’s when he started to unleash this timeless blend of powerful electro indie upon the world with former Dustland singer Adam Bray.

After some experimentation with the live sound, James Morris on guitar, and Martin Gordon on Drums, were added to the complete the MiG 15 lineup.

‘Cowboys & Indians’ is the band’s third single which is a three-minute blast of pure electronic beats and soaring vocals. This carefully crafted melodic indie pop and synth-driven rock is refreshing to hear; it’s a bold track and isn’t something we come across very often – especially in our inbox.

Based on McCluckey’s childhood of watching old western movies and pretending to be the heroes. It’s the perfect antidote to these lockdown times.

Already working with producers such as Rich Turvey (Blossoms), and Tord Knudsen (The Wombats), MiG 15 have got dozens of tracks in the pipeline so stay tuned for more electrifying electro pop from the quartet.
