Man With A Corduroy Heart creates playful indie folk and rock

British Americana and self-described halfwit, Man With A Corduroy Heart captures the beauty of mundane life through the use of folk and rock elements.

New single ‘I’m A Little Bit Short’ is about being a musician and running out of money; a common story spun with a quirky and playful outlook. The new track follows directly off the back of his debut album ‘Things Are A Little Bit…’ – there’s a theme going on with these song titles – which was recorded quietly and created in his basement while his newborn slept.

Blending the poetic and the playful with funky power pop riffs and Beatles-esque harmonies ‘I’m A Little Bit Short’ showcases the musician’s trademark authentic charm and storytelling.

Stepping away from obscure beats and bluesy guitars from some of his previous songs like ‘Caravans’ and ‘The Joy Of Giving Up’, he offers a refreshing dose of optimism, reflecting on the timeless struggles of being a musician and running low on funds at the end of the month.
