Dream pop duo Luna Pines return with new single ‘She Can’t See Me’ infused with House and ambient samples.
Hot on the heels of their previous release ‘Bright Blue’, Lotte Van Den Berg and Rob Oates have been slowly getting the attention of key tastemakers and their electronic indie music is being streamed in its thousands on Spotify.
‘She Can’t See Me’ takes inspiration from The Japanese House, Glades and Tourist & Tycho as the atmospheric number focuses on a stagnant state of not feeling good enough.
On the track vocalist/guitarist and synth player Lotte said: ‘‘I wrote ‘She Can’t See Me’ with my pal Thomas Trueman (Dokkodo Sounds & Laminate Pet Animal) just after I moved to London and things were very overwhelming for me.
“I think it’s so easy to feel left behind in this city, and that’s kind of what the song became about. It’s a conversation to myself trying to explore all the relationships in my life and why I don’t feel good enough for so many people.
“It’s essentially me grappling with my self-worth, and the struggles I see normal people go through every day.”
This year Luna Pines also completed two sold-out headlines in London and a sold-out headline in their hometown last year. They are receiving a lot of love after every release and that will only continue to grow.
