Lower Than Atlantis release new single ‘Dumb’

Lower Than Atlantis

The Watford punk rockers, Lower Than Atlantis, are back with another single from their forthcoming album, ‘Safe In Sound’, which proves to be an album to look out for as both singles promise a newer, fresher version of the band’s sound.

‘Dumb’ starts out with a slow and steady guitar riff before being accompanied by a simple drum beat – the opening lyrics reminding us of ‘Here We Go’ from their self-titled album.

The pre-chorus comes in with Mike Duce’s distorted vocals, something the Lower Than Atlantis boys have experimented with in the past. The chorus itself is full of the typical Lower Than Atlantis sound, elongated words and a solid guitar riff to finish off the last line.

The catchy and repetitive lyrics are supported throughout by the heavy drums and stop-start riffs that Lower Than Atlantis definitely aren’t unfamiliar with, making this song something for past, present and future fans to enjoy. This track is guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser – it’s a song where almost anyone could relate to it, such as someone stabbing you in the back or having a friend lie to you, it’ll make you want to aggressively sing along in the car or on your own in your room.

Lower Than Atlantis hit the UK in March, check out the dates and get tickets here.
