Since forming in 2014, Oxfordshire rockers Whyte Lytes are preparing to release their debut single, Go Get it. The quartet – Josh Rawle (Bass/Vocals), Alex Rawle (Guitar/Vocals), Jonny Morrison (Guitar) and Jamie Langford (Drums), have been building something of a following, With the early successes gained from their first ep’s, Hold Up Hold Back and Fight to Pay, tracks of which received a huge amount of support and playing shows with VANT and High Tyde to top it off.
With their guitar-driven tracks, inspired by Oasis, The Stereophonics and The Rolling Stones, the young Oxford quartet create the classic 90’s rock sound. As it unfurls so it becomes more scuffed and scruffy, the guitar more wiry, before it changes tack and provides some ebb to work against the flow. The best parts are those heavy riffs and catchy chorus’. A damn fine effort!
Speaking of their debut single release, the band said: “We are excited to release our debut single, ‘Go Get It!’ to the world. We hope you enjoy it and we look forward to seeing you on the road in the Autumn!”
