LISTEN: Glass Animals – Youth

Following the success of ‘Life Itself’, Glass Animals announce their hypnotic new single ‘Youth’. Echoing lead vocals and deep sampled beats of backing vocals bringing the catchy feel the song. A true mix of instruments really encapsulates the cultural diversity that I personally see within all of Glass Animals’ music.

The track is taken from their hotly anticipated new album, ‘How to Be A Human Being’. released via Caroline International / Wolf Tone on 26th August and available to pre order now.

Glass Animals are coming to the build up release of their second album. They unveiled in mid May as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record with their lead single ‘Life Itself’. A whole new buzz was created and really gave Glass Animals that boost into the recognition that they deserve. Recognition as the likes of an A list at Radio 1, A list at 6 music and also seeing the band gather in excess of 2 million monthly Spotify subscribers.Glass Animals

Glass animals have found their groove, and with the new track, ‘Youth’, it shows that they haven’t forgot what brought them here and gives an aura of well-being when heard. “You’ll Be Happy All The Time, I Know You Can Make It Right”. To me, I resonate to a time when I had to make a huge decision and stressed far too much on the outcome. This song reminds me of how worrying can sometimes be a burden and that life will sort itself out. More importantly that I have the power to make myself happy.

Their new album, ‘How To Be A Human Being’, is set to follow on from their debut record, ‘Zaba’, which has amassed a staggering 200 million Spotify streams. obliterating all expectations simply by word of mouth.

Their anomalous rise has gained the Oxford four-piece a legion of fans all over the world, including festival appearances at the likes of Falls in Australia, Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Glastonbury and has resulted in the band playing 2 sold out headline shows at LA’s 2000-capacity Wiltern and NYC’s 3000-capacity Terminal 5.
