The East Londoners Dexters, who consist of Tom Rowlett (vocals), Ben Debo (guitar), Jamie Harris (bass) and Chris Mardon (drums) returned with their second album ‘We Paid For Blood’ on 25th September. First released single ‘Stay Strange’ was played for the first time when the band played to huge crowds at the Isle of Wight Festival this summer.
‘Stay Strange’, is packed with drums pounding from the get-go and a squall of feedback teasing you until the guitars and bass come booming down with full force. When the song relaxes and gets in to its super smooth stride, there is no doubt that the pure indie anthem that should see crowds jumping until their heels bleed at venues up and down the UK this Autumn. Elements of Interpol, the Killers, Pulp and the Kaiser Chiefs are all on display. I can only recommend that you get down to your local venue to check these guys out!
