Getting deep and personal, alt pop trio LARWN have dropped new single ‘Too Much Love’ from the band’s upcoming EP.
Full of soft, intimate moments, big harmonic choruses and lots of emotion, ‘Too Much Love’ is about not being ready to let a relationship go.
It’s their third single after ‘Westside’ and ‘Like Forever’ which has seen the London band’s profile increase. Their smooth synths and atmospheric melodies have caught our eye and we hope they have yours too!
On the track, the band said: “The song originally came from a picture lead singer Andy took of a rose floating in the sea and he started thinking about how the rose looked like it had been thrown away.”
The music is predominantly keyboard-based as LAWRN started writing songs on a piano before their newfound love of 80s pop quickly led to the sound they have now. Their influences range from the huge pop bands like the 1975 to bluegrass piano tracks of Bruce Hornsby and the pop bands of the 1980s.
