KC debuts new single 'talk too much'

KC debuts roaring indie pop anthem with 70s nostalgia

Busting onto the scene with an exciting indie pop bop, KC debuts her single ‘Talk Too Much’.

Raised in the North-East of England and since performing from a young age, Kate Craig aka KC has just smashed it out the park with this new single.

Nodding to 70s nostalgia, ‘Talk Too Much’ is a true indie pop anthem with upbeat, head-nodding, feel-good vibe all around. The fun vocals, roaring synthesizers and funky bass lines are super infectious that make you want to dance.

Taking influence from Paramore, Fickle Friends, Bloxx and The 1975, KC is certainly not messing around as she sets her sights on more releases for 2021.

Speaking about the song, Kate Craig said: “‘Talk Too Much’’ is a song that was written during the primary 2020 Lockdown.

“Whilst staying with my (at the time) boyfriend, for five months straight…Obviously already a recipe for disaster.

“A lot of things came up and this song is the result of a conversation ending in a ‘Either step-up, or shut up’ situation.

“I love the irony of the lyrics contrasting with the happy, feel-good energy of the song. My entire personality pretty much plays between irony and sarcasm, so I knew I wanted to incorporate that somehow.”

If ‘Talk Too Much’ is anything to go by, then we have yourselves an exciting new artist on our hands here. Keep an eye out for her next single ‘Problems’ due for release next month.
