Jack River releases visually-stunning video for ‘Adolescent’

Australian singer-songwriter Jack River, the namesake of Holly Rankin is back with an incredible visual aid to her song ‘Adolescent’, in the form of a heavily Wild West with a twist, inspired music video.

Directed by Matt Sav, courtesy of PAVLOVA, it features a strong visual style that perfectly compliments Jack River’s strong lyrical and musical talent. With rich imagery such as girls huddled with phones, overflowing rose-filled baths and picture-perfect horses straight from a love-story – the video becomes an allegory, or even a critique, of the shallowness of love.

The music video is a visually-stunning companion to the song ‘Adolescent’, from the upcoming deluxe version of her 2018 debut album ‘Sugar Mountain’, which earned the singer three ARIA Award Nominations including Breakthrough Artist, Best Pop Release and Engineer of the Year in Australia.

Jack River has spent the last year touring the album alongside opening shows for the likes of Florence and the Machine, Vance Joy and Peking Duk.
