Inheaven are set to go on tour across the UK and have a few surprises up their sleeve. Speaking to IndieCentralMusic exclusively they reveal their plans for their live shows and also talk about which festivals they wish to tackle in the summer.
We at ICM loved your music throughout 2016 and we cannot wait to see what you have in store for 2017. What is some of the big plans arranged for the coming 12 months?
Probably the biggest plans we have are for our debut album to be released and to play lots of shows surrounding it. Watch this space!
Which festivals are a MUST for you this summer?
Glastonbury, Reading Festival – these were 2 massive highlights for us last year so we would be thrilled to go back. We also LOVED Truck Festival and Y Not Festival, they are two really great smaller festivals, so we would be there in a heartbeat.
With so many bands performing across the country, sometimes it is good to add a little extra to the set. Is there anything lined up for your upcoming tour this month?
Well we have some new track exclusives planned – songs that no one has ever heard. Every show we try and add something extra, our crowds are crazy – they always bring the party. We want our shows to feel like an experience rather than just a mid week gig.
In particular we cannot wait to see you headline The Sugarmill in Stoke-on-Trent. You played there last year supporting Circa Waves and got a feel for the venue. Is there anything you are going to do differently?
This will be our own show, so we are excited to show the people of Stoke what we are really about. Supporting bands is great, but there is nothing quite like doing a headline set. It will be big and bold and lots of velvet.
Describe the perfect crowd at one of your gigs.
Where everyone loses themselves and has a good time. We like the chaos!
Many bands have little traditions or memories that they associate with being on tour, have you obtained any over the years?
We always have a group hug before we go on stage.
