Guildford artist HOLMES is back with his second single ‘Never Learning’ this time opting for energetic indie rock.
As previously seen in April’s issue of abridged. magazine for the indie pop debut ‘If It Was Up To Me’ the singer-songwriter is showing a new side to the HOLMES bow.
‘Never Learning’ has a strong, well-driven bassline, cracking drums and softer but purposeful vocals. The track’s gripping chorus is anthemic and hard to forget.
Speaking about the song further, HOLMES, said: “The record discusses two ex lovers that can’t seem to escape the grip of each other. They both know they should stay away but something just keeps pulling them in further as their fire keeps reigniting.”
HOLMES is an impressive artist on the rise, despite only being two songs into his solo career, there’s a lot of exciting new music waiting to be unleashed.
