Himalayas are back with their anthemic and cinematic indie rock
Welsh rockers Himalayas are back with an anthemic and electrifying single ‘The Masquerade’.
Their heavy guitar lines, dual vocals and huge hooks have been holding audiences captivated in a very cinematic sound and style.
Going from strength to strength and gaining fans across the globe, Himalayas have definitely made their mark on the industry within the three years of being together.
James Goulbourn (drums), Mike Griffiths (Guitar and Vocals), Louis Heaps (Bass) and Joe Williams (Guitar and Vocals) have reverted to talk about politics in this single, specifically around Brexit and where we are as a society.
The band said: “‘The Masquerade’ is a caricature of modern British politics, outlining both the absurdity and malice of a system rigged against the interests of the majority.
“It also reflects on the dark 18 months the band has had, with their previous manager putting the band in a financial set back. ‘The Masquerade’ is the fierce comeback to break the silence.”
The band venture out on an 18-date UK headline tour in November, check out which town or city they’re coming to below.
