Turtle Tempo: Margot – ‘In Your Palm’

This week’s Friday’s Finest pick comes from South London where dream-pop quintet Margot are based, their latest release In Your Palm is set to be the title track in the band’s forthcoming EP in February 2020.

It’s All Indie: SUDS – ‘You’ll Feel Better’

Cambridgeshire has a new Indie-Pop band to call their own, SUDS. In recent months the band has become a lot bigger with a shoutout on the ‘Later with Jools Holland’ show on the BBC, radio play on BBC Cambridgeshire and lots of other media outlets, the band are now back with a dreamy new offering “You’ll Feel Better”.

It’s a great and melodic tune with plenty of dreamy hooks and smooth vocals, if SUDS end up playing at Reading + Leeds in a few years time I wouldn’t be surprised. They’re a perfect blend of early Wolf Alice and Lucy Rose, with some moods taken from The Maccabees. So head on down and check out their new track, trust me, you’ll feel better after hearing it!

Nexus Music Blog: Lost Like Alice – ‘In Our Lifetime’

Lost Like Alice returns with a sombre new track in “In Our Lifetime”. Full of heartfelt tonality and a consciousness within the lyrics that shows a maturity beyond his years. Lost Like Alice has truly returned with a gem that rests easy with both your mind and soul.

ICM: Jools – ‘Hysterical Starving Naked’

Jools

Leicester-based indie rockers Jools serve up their debut single ‘Hysterical Starving Naked’ which encapsulates the thesis of the band’s sound.

Striving to produce fuzzy and aggressively distorted guitars, snarly vocals and venomous beats, the six-piece are sending out their stance on socialism, the use of social media and their political values.
