Festival Review: Underground Pt. 3

Underground Festival kicked off over the weekend and we’re are giving an exclusive look into how the great indie bands performed.

NGOD

It has now been 3 days since we saw NGOD strutting their stuff at Guildhall in Gloucester for Underground Festival. And, oh, has it been 3 long days constantly looking back. NGOD came on equipped with Instruments and bottles of wine to ease their nerves I presume. It certainly helped as NGOD were confident individuals creating an electrifying sound that echoed through the main stage. With groups of young fans jumping to the music, there was a sense of uncertainty about whether the floor would collapse. None the less It added to the atmosphere which was an incredible gathering of music lovers and musicians to support what may be the next Kaiser Chiefs. To make the experience even better, Inheaven made a cheeky appearance in the crowd to show their support.

Secret Company

The awesome foursome Secret Company were on the main stage after Man Of Moon (below) finished their set. Following the lines of cool and calm indie pop, Secret Company burst on the stage at 4pm with their slow and soft alt-pop sound getting everyone settled in ready for more great acts still to come.

Man Of Moon

Edinburgh duo Chris Bainbridge and Mikey Reid make up the cool alternative sound for Man Of Moon.  With a very early start time of 3pm there wasn’t much of a crowd, nevertheless, the show must crack on. Everybody is chilling with their pints and Jack Daniels and coke whilst the 20-year-olds sing us their latest EP ‘Medicine’. Track I Run and Sign have a Public Service Broadcasting sound to them without the annoying tannoy man from the 40’s ruining the beat. Overall their cool, calm and relaxing set was pleasant to watch
