LA indie pop musician Edie Yvonne has released new single ‘Burn’ as she continues her rise through the ranks.
At just 15 years old Edie has well-established her original sound, combining punchy riffs, catchy melodies and compelling storytelling.
‘Burn’ is a mellow pop song with elements of gritty riffs with gentle instrumental plucks which feel similar to the Kalimba the song was originally written on by Edie. The track is a powerful anthem about resilience and recovery as she says ‘Burn’ was written about someone blowing “up their life and you are left to put out the fire”.
Following up on singles ’15 (When I Leave)’, ‘Fade Into You’ and EP ‘Girl Code’, Edie Yvonne showcases her captivating songwriting and stunning vocal presence in New York City for the first time New York City at the Vascular Birthmarks Foundation 30th anniversary gala.
With each new release, Edie Yvonne solidifies her position as a rising star, fusing ethereal indie-pop with lyrics that universally connect, encapsulating the raw emotions of teenage angst and empowerment. Her track “Burn” is no exception, carrying on her tradition of heartfelt, soul-baring anthems that linger in listeners’ minds long after the music ends. If this latest single is any indication, Edie Yvonne’s ascent has only just begun.
