By Four Piece rock group Take It As Gospel are the most recent band to come up on our radar this past week.
Formed in early 2016, Take It As Gospel are an indie rock act haling from Warrington, England. The band pride themselves on a DIY ethos: writing, recording and mixing all material in a converted farmhouse; taking inspiration from the likes of Cold War Kids and Nirvana.
The band features Ryan Larner (vocals/guitar), Chris Kirkham (lead guitar), Louis Thursfield (bass) and Matt Wenham (drums) have each brining a combined expansive style of reverb laden verses with hard-hitting choruses to self-produce their debut single ‘Sober’. This particular track will feature as the first single from Take It As Gospel’s debut EP ‘Darkest Corners’ set for release in September 2016.
