Birmingham quartet Pleasure House only formed eighteen months ago, have created an entertaining brand of Indie Rock that is both uplifting and melancholy.
The band have release their debut EP ‘Show Your Colours’, which also features their magnificent new single ‘Cyan’.
‘Cyan’ casts an electrifying spell. Unleashing full bodied production complete with sultry harmonies and haunting psych drum and guitar patterns. The EP is full of infectious riffs and phasing refrains bringing out the summer vibes. And just in time too!
The BBC has championed Pleasure House, playing them regularly on BBC West Midlands and asking the band to perform at the BBC Music Awards. Furthermore, the band has supported the likes of Blossoms, The Japanese House and Prides and have just secured a slot at this year’s 110 Above Festival.
With an upcoming tour (which you can see dates below) of the EP, ‘Show Your Colours’ should mark a significant step up for Pleasure House.
