British singer and songwriter Michael Baker has released a music video for his latest indie folk single The Steady & The Stuck.
The very powerful video is all about a woman who lives on a council estate, battle worry and anxiety by expressing herself through dance as a means of escape. The track highlights Michael’s charismatic and honest songwriting capabilities along with his remarkable vocals.
It is the second track to be taken from his upcoming debut album ‘Dust & Bone’, following the praised first single ‘Anywhere Anytime Soon’. The new album has been 2 years in the making, co-written, produced and mixed with a variety of well-respected names, including Dan Brown (Massive Attack), Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Charlatans, Herbie Hancock) Peter Vettese (Carly Simon, Simple Minds) and Ben Christophers (Bat For Lashes, Guy Garvey) and is due for release on October 21st.
To celebrate the album’s release, Michael played a headline show at the Old Queens Head in Islington, London.
