Charlyn is a solo musician, the chemistry between the singer and her band (Robin, George and Thomas) is undeniably audible; having met her co-performers whilst studying at the British & Irish Modern Music Institute in 2012. The upcoming EP which was recorded in London, explores intimate subjects, such as love and human stories, all set to rhythmic and spacious 80s-pop beats.
When interviewed about the single, Charlyn described it as “a summery pop song, telling the story of a woman pretending to have ‘the perfect life’, however wanting to escape and live the life of someone else.” After listening it to yourself, you cannot disagree with her!
After having graced the stages of renowned London venues such as Bush Hall, Under the Bridge and 02 Academy Islington, as well playing shows in Paris and Switzerland, Charlyn is now set to take Western Europe by storm over the summer.
