Deco return with pop anthem ‘I Don’t Wanna Go Out’
Nottingham duo Deco are back with their new cathartic indie pop anthem ‘I Don’t Wanna Go Out’.
Blurring the line between timeless 80’s synth-pop and contemporary discernment, Deco create undeniable bops with a bite. ‘It’s okay not to be okay’ is the premise of Deco’s first single of 2020.
Written about having an anxiety to socialise and perform, ‘I Don’t Wanna Go Out’ is a realisation and acceptance in itself as Max explains.
The band said on the single: “Acceptance is a big step in working through mental health, and this song became part of this very relatable process. The purpose of this track is to uplift and inspire people to talk about their mental health.”
Following a very successful 2019, Max and Jack set the bar high with support slots alongside Jess Glynne and Casey Lowry, it put them on the map, earning themselves as an ICM Ones To Watch 2020 artist.
The duo also performed at the legendary Maida Vale studios for BBC Introducing and travelled the country on a sold-out winter UK tour. Big things are on the horizon this year and we’ll be following them every step of the way.
