Conrad Deadly rooted in creating hard-hitting indie punk

Singer-songwriter and musician Conrad Deadly has released new single ‘Cults’, a hard-hitting indie/punk track.
Hailing from Whitby, but now based in Margate, Conrad Deadly is seasoned artist and musician with roots firmly embedded in punk, Britpop and folk, these fusion together with a warm and fuzzy yet rapturous balance.
Combining these musical messages with abstract drawings to accompany his lyrics, to strive for positivity and making a difference, not only to people but in the world for the better, especially in such uncertain times.
‘Cults’ is an epitome of those influences armed with his acoustic guitar and backing band, Conrad showcases himself well with honest lyrics on true life situations and dark occurrences he’s got drawn into. On this personal level, this really enables him to connect so well with an audience and really hold their attention at every show. (Listen to a live acoustic version of the single here).
Conrad has already seen him feature on BBC Introducing radio York & North Yorkshire with his strongly honed and nurtured his northern talents into a style that’s not only exciting but unique in the genre. Listen now and leave an ICM Star Rating out of 10.
