CloseUp Festival announces revived lineup for its annual showcase

CloseUp Festival will go ahead at last, as the popular record label based in London announces its new lineup.

Despite being pushed back more times than I can remember (three times!) budding indie and electronic fans will be able to see some of the best emerging talent on September 11th.

Making the announcement last week (July 29th), new headliners Bamily, Trudy & The Romance and Natalie Shay will take to the COLOURS stage in Hoxton.

There will also be a headline DJ slot from Liam James Ward and a surprise act still to be announced.

Due to circumstances beyond the festival’s control, Whenyoung can no longer perform at CloseUp Festival, however; Abbie McCarthy (DJ), Sad Boys Club, VALERAS, The Hubbards, PYNCH and lots more will be making their presence known on the Saturday.

CloseUp Festival will also continue on its delayed plans of planting a tree for every ticket sold (with plans of 550 trees planted in Paisley, Scotland by September 2021) and its company ethos of equality throughout performing artists, this year will embody CloseUp in its entirety.
