By Being a UK website, it would be very easy to miss such talent that is only a plane away. But due to dedication we want to highlight the significance that international music makes to the industry as a whole. It’s very likely that bands will often make an impact into other countries and create a following across all parts of the globe. Here’s a band that we would love to come to the UK some time.
Funeral Suits are one those bands that are only just international. Being from Ireland they just about count. They recently released their second album, ‘Islands Apart’. It certainly features many different influential aspects within its tracks. From the intense beats with, ‘Temple’, the deep hallowing vocals on, ‘The Pounding of Hearts’ and the Electronic Synths in ‘Slow Motion’. It certainly is credible of respect and they definitely deserve to be in the running for our Best International Act.
Having amassed 100,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 75,000 followers on Facebook it is a shame that they have announced their dismemberment as a band. Although, I’m still hopeful that they will comeback in 10 years in time with a reunion tour. And until then, we have this glorious album to enjoy. So sit back and let’s just wait for the reunion, yes? Sorted.
