Voodoos – ICM’s Artist Spotlight
Bright, youthful and energetic are three perfect words that describe this week’s Artist Spotlight pick Voodoos.
The Glaswegian rockers produce rambunctious indie-rock that’s suitable for small rooms filled with hot and sweaty teens in one huge messy mosh pit.
Since being guided by Baby Strange frontman Johnny Madden at their venue Club Sabbath, the band have blossomed into a thriving indie-rock band at the forefront of the Glasgow music scene.
The band have recently released their debut EP, ‘Late Night Early Morning’ last month which includes the high tempo ‘Garden Ornaments’ and charismatic ‘Turn Me Into Juice’.
Echoing vibes to that off Slaves and Spring King their music grabs your attention instantly. Their gritty guitar riffs and energetic drums set the tone spectacularly.
The Voodoos are definitely ones to look out for over the coming months.
