Alt pop quartet North Parade add a indie electronica twist
Alt pop band North Parade return with their third single of the year ‘Keepthingscasual’ as they put their own unique stamp on the genre.
The London-based quartet are a huge ball of indie electronica energy that is ready to explode, which we’ll likely see on the outfits upcoming EP.
‘Keepthingscasual’ is the first released track from that debut EP titled ‘How To Be Good’. The and say its a song written “entirely on a phone between a notes app and music software loops,” the song concerns mundanity and predictability.
Produced by Paul Carr (fresh from working on Dave’s Mercury Prize winning debut album ‘Psychodrama’) and recorded at Resident Studios in London, the single is the most electronic composition from North Parade to date. It is 3-minute incessant indie pop.
They support the release with some UK gigs including headline gigs in Birmingham, Oxford and London. Listen to the single below and share the love by giving it an ICM rating out of 10.
